  Nice B&B on the C&O Trail. Provided place to clean and secure bikes. also laundry available. Great location in the center of town.

  Jessie was very accommodating and had everything ready prior to my arrival. Accommodations were immaculately clean, the house well decorated and room quite comfortable. Light refreshments were offered and she allowed me to use the washer and dryer for my muddy and rain soaked clothes. Bike storage was available in a secured garage. This bicycle friendly B&B was a welcome respite from the trail.

  A very wonderful place to rest. We enjoyed conversation with our hostess. Beautiful house and city.

  Nice little family-owned B&B. Decently accommodating to C&O canal touring cyclists (secure storage, some bike cleaning setup) while still hanging onto a sense of finery. Clean, newly renovated multi-story townhouse with character. Kind hosts. Kids and well mannered little dog helped with the welcome.
  
  Williamsport is a curious little town, but there's a cafe and ice cream and some shoppes. traditional strip mall with anything you'd want are a short drive or a few miles walk up the road.
  
  FYI, the town has a crazy fire department siren common in that part of the state which sounds like you'd imagine an air raid alarm if/when the Dept. doesn't answer the phone quick enough. i suppose it would be useful if the fire fighters were blocks away with no cell phones. same system in Cumberland, Hancock, etc.

  Very warm and engaging inn keeper - - Jesse. She has worked very hard to make Her B&B comfortable and inviting. She welcomes all, but caters to bicyclists.
  Jesse has 6 rooms available and can accommodate 12 to 15 guests.
  Her breakfast was wonderful and served in a very attractive dining room.

The C&O Canal Bicycling Guide - Overnight Lodging

The second overnight stop was in Hancock, Md at mile 124. Here we stayed at Econo Lodge (now a Super 8 Motel 301-678-6101). This was a fine motel at the time, but I have not seen many favorable reviews as of late.
