  A good place for some off-road trails on foot, bicycle, or horse. I walked just over 3 miles. They have a beautiful lake with a small deck to fish from. Trail is an excellent place for bird watching and other wildlife. They have bathrooms and seating by the lake. Overnight camping as well.

  It's a beautiful public space. There is a pond with fishing pier and a number of trails including a section of the statewide Florida Trail. The trails range through swamp, pine forest, and open sections. Primitive camping is also available but I have not taken advantage of that option. Overall, a great outdoor area relatively close to the city.

  Skip the theme parks- this is among the best FL has to offer. Miles upon miles of pristine wilderness with lots to do here.

  One of my favorite places I've been, is right here on SR46 just out of Sanford, FL!❤ Absolutely LOVE the hike and the sunset on Bear Pond!! Stunning!!!

  Another great gem for trail riding in our neighborhood! Trails are marked but pay close attention as it is easy go astray. The landscape is beautiful and this is the perfect time of the year to spend an extended amount of time out on the trails without being too hot. Great for on foot or riding.
