  Excellent experience! Went with a novice group for our first time out Upland Bird hunting. We did the 1/2 day guided hunt for Pheasant. Game master and staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. I will definitely return again and am planning on exploring the Ferrell Hog Hunt they offer as well.

  Our friends decided to take a trip to Rose Hill Game Preserve this weekend to experience an upland bird hunt. Some of our group of six were beginner hunters while others were experienced. The guide, Mike, was extremely accommodating to our diverse skills and showed us a great time. We started with a tour of the beautiful farm and then shot some five stand to warm up. Mike and the crew at Rose Hill gave us some great pointers which were really helpful later on in the day! We hit the fields with Mike, Pete and their three dogs. Their experience in finding birds was really evident as soon as we got out there. The dogs were well trained and very capable. Mike's emphasis on safety and fun really showed through to give us a great time. Overall, I can't say there's a better way to spend your Saturday than at Rose Hill Game Preserve! We had an amazing time and will be back very soon!
