  I was very happy with the recent exceptional experience . The environment was very positive and creative . As a fellow artist I was drawn to their unique storefront . After meeting Dave and Dustin I felt like I became a expert in orential rugs . I would highly recommend people in the market for cleaning , restoration , and purchasing of orential rugs this is the place .

  David and Dustin of Davids Oriental Rugs are as warm and colorful as their wares - they made my husband and I feel like family. Their knowledge and passion for the craftsmanship of oriental rugs are unsurpassed. Not to mention, who wouldn't want to talk to these terrific guys! The recent purchases we made have brought so much joy and warmth to our home. Dustin also went the extra mile when we made an appointment for him to come by our home and give us some advice regarding our existing rugs (which to mend, wash, etc). I became familiar with Dustin when I took my favorite rug to David's Rugs to be professionally cleaned - they did a fantastic job.

  My husband and I bought a home in Fauquier County 3 years ago. We visited David’s Oriental Rugs to inquire about getting a few rugs left by the prior owner cleaned. In discussing the cleaning process with David and his son, Dustin, it became apparent that the process they use is far superior to what we’d been accustomed with other well-known rug cleaners in Fairfax County. We were so satisfied with the cleaning and with the low-key, non-sales-y manner of David and Dustin that we began to explore their rugs for sale. The process was fun. David and Dustin patiently showed us as many rugs as we needed to decide, and even brought possibilities to our home to lay them out in the intended rooms to see whether they worked with the décor, lighting, etc. They have a deep appreciation for the history and artistry of the rugs they sell, and if you’re interested, they will share some of that with you. We bought several rugs and love them, including an antique rug they painstakingly and professionally restored. Having checked out other area oriental rug stores, we can also say David’s Oriental Rugs’ prices are significantly better. Among all the other merchants we worked with in furnishing our home, David and Dustin stood out for quality products, courteous and professional service, and fair prices.

  David and Dustin have been in town for 20+ years and are seasoned experts when it comes to any kind of woven rugs. I've been dealing with these guys for the last 7-8 years and they are honest, very knowledgeble, professional and extremely fair. They cleaned 2 large Persians of mine and the results were nothing short of amazing. I love that they take the time to really deep clean their clients' rugs with an all-natural cleaning solution - not like their competitors who spot spray horrible chemicals and call it a day. And the cost seemed to be in line with their competitors.
  
  Also, I put a couple of rugs on consignment in their shop and they were happy to show them and sell them for a great price.
  
  I need to say that Meg's review seems like she has an agenda of some sort. $12,359? Really? The work she described doesn't cost nearly that much. The rug itself is probably not even worth that much. Plus, a lot of her post makes no sense. "Several years ago" she had work done. And it took her this long to post a bad review on google? And her "friend" had a rug that they "destroyed." Any details? Seems a bit gratuitous.
  
  Anyhow, I would not hesitate to stop in and check out their inventory. They're always willing to unroll and show any and all rugs in their showroom and give you a detailed history on each rug they have. Their rugs are always clean and moth-free. Nothing but the highest regards for David's Rugs.
