Most beautiful views that you ever see!
A great hike, close to Denver. Wonderful views of Boulder. Steep on some trails, but a well maintained trail system.
Fantastic, short hike in Boulder. If you're looking for a longer hike, jumping down to bear peak is always well worth it. Dogs are allowed to use the Gregory canyon trail up to Green mountain
Pro tip: drive up Flagstaff mountain and keep going up, when you see a ton of cars on the side of the road and a sign that says you're leaving Boulder city limits, park yo car. There's a trail to Green Mountain there and only takes an hour round trip. It's also outside of Boulder city limits so parking is free if your car is not registered in Boulder.
The Green Mountain West trail is easy for most of the way there and toward the end gets steep to get to the small summit. Trail is well maintained. Great views. Great weather when we went in the morning of August 26. Took us 2 hours maximum to climb and return the way we came.
