Grand Lakes Park

Good park, and great shade by the trees, perfect for summer time.

It is a little community park but very nice and has got this probably a quarter mile walking trail around the lake - beautiful!

The park play area is not gated, but the pool is. There are restrooms available in the pool house, as well as pool noodles to help you float. You need a Grand Lakes Tag to access the pool. The lake beside the pool is a good place to go running and there's a grassy area beside the lake with a lot of space for of you want to do yoga or just sit at read. There are tons of picnic benches available as well if you want to eat and one of the benches in the park has a built-in checkers and chess board (I believe you bring your own pieces though). Around the lake isn't a great place to roller skate or ride your bike (there are tons of cracks and you might get caught in some of them) but there are also paths beside the park in the neighborhood.

Great scenic place to run, or walk. They have a playground and picnic tables, with lots of shade...Also a lake where fishing is allowed... catch and release. Been walking here for 3 years ...
