I am so blessed to be her patient. I was refered by multiple physicians after asking for their best reference, and I feel so happy to have found her! Her pharmacology is by far, the best I have experienced. She works WITH you to prescribe what works for your needs/body/lifestlye. Dr. Hicks wants you comfortable with your medication and she loves explaining how they work and interact with your body. She is very good with educating you about medications. Her warm smile invites you right on in. Her dog, Tina, loves me and cheers me up with her puppy love. You get a full hour or full half-hour to talk with her, always. There is just so much I could say but in short: I truly enjoy my life now, MORE than I ever have. I feel my best, and am living a healthy, well-balanced life. Thank you Dr. Hicks!

After I got engaged and started to plan my enagement party I started to feel sensations that I had never felt before. I was constantly dizzy, disoriented, pounding headaches, blurry vision, detached feeling and the list went on. I went to the emergency room when my heart started racing while I was perfectly calm and seated. I saw every doctor from a neurologist to cardiologist, had a full blood workup and multiple MRIs. Everything checked out. I suffered for over 6 months, not feeling at all like myself. One doctor explained to me that I am experiencing anxiety symptoms. I started cognitive behavior therapy for 3 months which helped a little but then I started to experience panic attacks frequently. I knew I wanted to see a psychiatrist but I had read horror stories about medications online. I was referred to Dr. Hicks by my cardiologist who had some patients that were able to get the help they needed. Dr. Hicks brought me back to my old self (and improved)! She is a great listener, highly educated and treats other professionals in the community with similar concerns as I had. Dr. Hicks gave me with her cell phone number and is always available to answer any questions that I have which really helped keep my mind at ease about starting medication. I am feeling 500% better, no panic attacks in 3 months and now I am planning my wedding and feel great about it! Dr. Hicks does not accept insurance but she provides you with documentation which may be used towards your out of network benefits. Her rates are a little high but well worth it! I couldn't be more thankful for her!

I have never met anyone so caring, understanding, and informative as Dr. Hicks. I've been with her many years now and have improved immensely since the time we started. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor that actually knows what they're doing. Her bedside manner along with her keen insight into the mind of her patients is truly phenomenal. I have the utmost appreciation for her and all she's done. I'm sure whoever spends time with her feels the same way.
