  I was first introduced to Callahan’s Karate when a former student recommended it for my son. He began taking lessons in 2012 at the age of 5 and he hasn't looked back. He loves it here! I have watched him grow in confidence, learn self-control and develop valuable life skills. This is a great place for kids to have fun and learn at the same time!

  I started karate when I was in first grade because a friend of mine had told me how much fun he was having. I was a very rambunctious child, and loved the kicking and punching aspect of martial arts, but I have found that my time at Callahan's Karate is more than just the physical exercise. I would not be the same person I am today without the critical life lessons I have learned in the studio from the wonderfully patient and inspirational instructors who are flexible and willing to accommodate to each individual student. Now I am an instructor, and am proud to be able to work with these kids, and inspire them to become the best that they can be, just as I was when I was their age. What I love the most about the school however, is that I learn something new from someone every time I come in for work and/or class because of the rich and diverse background each student and their family members have in the studio. I would highly recommend Callahans Karate to quite literally anybody. Whether they are searching for something to fill their schedule, for phsycial activity, for mental growth, there is something for everyone at Callahans Karate.

  My family and I have trained at Callahan's Karate Studio for many years. I particularly appreciate the positive messages they communicate to all their students every month. Great fitness and life lessons for both young and old!

  I started at this studio in 1999 at the age of 4 and am still a student now at the age of 22. All of the instructors are absolutely phenomenal and have shaped my life in ways I cannot explain. I would not be the person that I am today without the Callahans, Mr. G, and Mr. Clements. They cultivate a family atmosphere and make sure that every student feels welcome and important. I cannot recommend this studio enough to a parent who is looking to get their child involved in martial arts or who is looking for physical activity themselves. As a student you will learn so much more than self defense but also honesty, courtesy, self-discipline and a multitude of other qualities to set your child up for a very successful life.
