  Rice dishes are okay. I had the fried porkchop rice and it was alright. This place also serves a limited variety of dim sum, but some things sell out quick (don't know if this is a common problem or if it just because it was Sunday). The dim sum did not really leave an impression for me, so it's not something I would recommend. I would assume, based on the name of the restaurant, that this is a place geared for drinks and quick bites.

  I was excited about this restaurant because there are limited to no options for dim sum in the Katy area. Unfortunately, this is not a push cart dim sum restaurant. You order at the counter. As for the dim sum, I've eaten the siu mai, cheung fun, spare ribs, and turnip cake. I recommend the spare ribs and turnip cake. The turnip cake was crispy, and the spare ribs were super flavorful. I didn't like the cheung fun. The ratio of rice noodles to meat is off (too much rice noodles), and the pieces stick together so they are not easy to eat. As for the entrees, I have eaten the curry beef brisket rice. The curry is deep and rich, and the beef is tender, but the ratio of potatoes to beef is off. Some of the potatoes were also a little undercooked. The dish needs more of the beef - it'd be perfect that way! You bus your own table, which I like because along with counter service, I don't feel an obligation to tip and you can get in and out quickly. The wait time for food was reasonable. They need to improve the menu so that the names and prices of the dishes are clear, and an online menu with prices is needed. The prices are generally reasonable. Overall, the food was pretty good, although I think they still need to tinker a bit with some of the dishes. I waffled between a 3- and 4-star rating for this place, and I settled on four stars because the food is unique for the Katy area, and they are relatively new, so I'm hoping that they will improve.

  A small mistake with my order but the gentleman corrected the issue without me asking. I will definitely return.

  The food here is fantastic! Quick service and relaxed atmosphere.
  Fried chicken is great and the batter they use is very crispy! Dumplings are wonderful!

(832) 990-8853 Lightly breaded, crunchy bite, tender chicken meat. Reminds me of the Taiwanese popcorn chicken during my college days minus the nice facts that it's not oily or greasy, doesn't have as much saltiness to it, and comes with some fried basil.
