Great place to see wildlife on boardwalks. Historical sight with plenty of signs to explain the significance of the park.
Peaceful quiet walking area
Biodiversity is amazing and informative displays of the aviation history are great!
I've been visiting Canton for the past 6 years so I was really excited to see this new park. The history behind it is pretty cool. It's crazy to think there was an airfield at the same spot back in the 30s! Much of it is still under development. But there is a trail that's partially bush-whacked you can use. Make sure to take closed-toe shoes. I ran into at least one Garter snake. She was shy and basically slithered away into the grass, but I don't like the prospect of me startling her and possibly stepping on her …!
