  Excellent karate school. Most of our friends send their children here and we all love it. Highly recommend.

  Confidence, discipline, loyalty and so much FUN! Highly recommended for athletes and non-athletes. It is a unique sport that makes you work with others to improve your own skills with individual recognition. Most of all it is authentic to Korean Tang So Do. I love that the participants count in Korean and have learn 10-20 words.

  This just isn't any old karte class. Kim's embraces all walks of life into their Martial Arts School, teaching self-worth, self-control, values to be respectful and never to give up with so much more. The interaction Master George and Mrs. Taylor have with these childern is indescribable. The encouragement is priceless and the discipline. Very glad we made the decision to join. #siblings that #kicktogether #sticktogether

  As a parent I want to give my 5yo as many opportunities as possible. We tell our children they can do anything they put their mind to, but as adults we know that preparation+opportunity=success and the preparation aspect of the equation is solely our responsibility. Those of us with small children don't have many options to stack the deck in our kid's advantage. What I found at Kim's Karate Shrewbury was an exemplary tool for growth. Where else can you find an environment where self discipline and personal responsibility are the only avenue to success, while still relaying on the experience and kinship of peers to drive their ambition and work ethic to succeed. Add in the encouragement and instruction of strict but amazing teachers, that my boy sees as superheroes, and you get the perfect setting for development. A few weeks in and the change in my son has been noticeable by everyone from teachers to extended family. Thank you Master George and Mrs. Taylor, we owe you more than can be repayed.

  Kim's Karate Shrewsbury is the BEST! Master George Kapterian and Taylor Kapterian are amazing with our children and truly want to teach and help them become respectful, confident, educated and strong (both physically and mentally). Master George gives constant guidance and encouragement that goes far beyond just showing up to teach a class three times a week! As a parent, we want our children to be the BEST they can be and this certainly has helped our son in that direction! Thank for teaching our kids with such compassion! Kim's Karate of Shrewsbury is one of the best investments we have made in our son and his future! I can't believe his progress since he began just over a year ago! So glad he is a member of the Kim's Karate family because it's more than just karate or taking a monthly membership fee...... the things they teach, the things they emphasize (family comes 1st, doing well in school is a must, respect, discipline and the list goes on) and the standards they hold the kids to are all lessons that will help all the kids as they grow!
