Milford Beach is one of the cleanest beaches and places to visit. Has restrooms and a little snack bar. Has a very large parking lot and there is trails for a bike riding and walking and running. Milford beach is a place where you can launch your boat or canoe. There are many tables for picnics and family outings. The park and beach is open till sundown.

The walking/hiking paths that cross under the bridge are my favorite hiking paths. I go here as much as I can and at least once a month. During the winter it's harder to hike but during the summer it definitely easier and the river is beautiful there.

Love swimming in the river, but the beach could use more sand and fewer rocks. The changing facilities are great, though.

Great little retreat. It's so quiet sometimes, all you hear is the cars in the bridge.

Though I recommend wearing water shoes, the rocks can get slippery.

Make sure you pack your own food and drinks also.
