  Suzanne is a remarkable teacher (and vocalist). She has been a vocal teacher and mentor to my daughter for the last several years and has helped her develop healthy, strong vocal technique as well as range and a truly beautiful tone. Hannah's musicianship and expression have also developed beautifully under Suzanne's tutelage, and have frequently been commented upon In competitions (Hannah took first place and top scores in her NATS categories in all the years she participated), workshops, performances, etc.
  Suzanne is one of the most observant and effective teachers I have ever met. She makes it a point to assess and understand what is going on with her students (health issues and other life situations) so that she can best tailor each lesson to their needs and goals. And being a working singer herself, Suzanne is able to truly understand the challenges singers face and can effectively advise her students on how to deal with those challenges. It was through her keen observation and advice that we went to an ENT in time to find out she had gastric reflux before it did permanent damage to her vocal chords.
  I honestly cannot say enough about Suzanne's capabilities as a singer and teacher or her empathy and understanding. Hannah and I highly recommend her!!

  Suzanne worked with my Men's Chorus students for an hour to help them understand and practice supportive breath. And she connected that information to hearing and matching pitch. She was enthusiastic, engaging, and very articulate. My students were excited about what they learned and experience.

  I had never taken voice lessons before; wasn't even sure it was worth it. But it has definitely been worth it with Suzanne. She adapts her instructions to your individual needs, and she is great at communicating what you need to do to get results.

  I began taking voice with Suzanne over three years ago and have loved the experience. I had never had voice lessons before and I was nervous not knowing what to expect. Suzanne has a way of putting you at ease and bringing out your best. She will help you explore what you are capable of and surprisingly I found I was capable of much more than I ever imagined. Thank you Suzanne for your continued faith in me.

  An exceptional vocal teacher to work with! Very talented and incredibly helpful in all things voice related. I was a previous voice student of hers for 3 years at her music studio in Eldridge, MD and I can tell you honestly that I owe much of my success to her tremendous training. I was accepted into a number of music schools for college and won a good amount of music competitions with her help leading to amazing opportunities like singing at the Kennedy Center and at Carnegie Hall. My voice has matured a great deal after working with her. Suzanne has a beautiful gift of working with her students not only to teach them about the voice but also to aid and support them in many other genres and styles of music as best she can. In this way she understands and encourages interest in other forms of music besides classical (e.g. my passion for alternative and liturgical music). She has provided me with opportunities that I never would have known about or pursued otherwise. For all this I am eternally grateful. And the beauty is that she can do the same for you or your son or daughter! If you are looking for a voice teacher that will help improve your skills and knowledge of the voice, I highly recommend you work with her!
