Evan is great!!! He is one of the best instructors I have ever had. I came to him with little experience and struggling with a slice, a few weeks later and I am now hitting much better

Evan has forgotten more about the golf swing than I will ever know. I started working with him after my collegiate career ended, and wish I would have started sooner. He has made me so much better!

I chose Evan as a golf instructor at random because the place he taught at was convenient to where I worked. I came in kind of nervous, having never golfed before and he made me feel comfortable and calm and excited to learn and (eventually, hopefully!) get good at golf. He was very patient and explained things in a way that were easy to understand and when I didn’t get something, he would change the way he explained it or demonstrated it until it clicked for me. Lessons with Evan were a perfect kickoff to my new hobby and, if I take lessons again, I would chose him on purpose next time!

I found Evan by searching yelp and google reviews for NYC golf instructors. Evan's name kept coming up which I would later find out was because he was definitely the best instructor in NYC. I have never golfed before but have always wanted to. I live in NYC so I felt like I never would be able to learn without a golf course right here. I was also just really afraid to try it out because it seemed like a difficult sport. On my first lesson I had absolutely no idea how to swing a club or hit a golf ball. After just 2 lessons my swing is actually a good looking swing and I make contact almost every time. I set up weekly lessons with him now and every time I go I get significantly better. Highly recommend Evan!

Evan is a super smart and knowledgeable teacher trained by Jim McLean. He pushes me to improve and work hard, and he takes teaching seriously. I’ve gone to many pros over the years who have prioritized style over fundamentals, without any underlying basis or philosophy or strategy, which hasn’t worked out well in the long. I’m working with Evan on some core fundamentals and the approach could (and has already) yield superior results in the long term. If you’re serious about improving and understanding the swing, I thoroughly recommend Evan.
