  Charmian is an incredible Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist, I have been seeing her for the last couple of years to help me with my wellness care. She has been able to help me with headaches, migraines, neck & back tension as well as some emotional distress. When I have my sessions with Charmian she is fully present and really listens to what I am expressing. She has an amazing ability to design the perfect treatment for whatever I'm going through on any given day. I am so grateful for Charmian always going the extra mile for me whether that is researching natural remedies or sending me resources to help as well. Some of my favorite treatments with her are acupuncture, cupping, moxa, aromatherapy and massage.

  Charmian’s work is precise, effective, and deeply therapeutic. She has strength, grace, and wisdom in her technique; I always know I am in good hands on her table. Her energy is calm & lovely, as is her space in downtown Santa Cruz. I highly recommend her for bodywork & well-being!

  Charmian is a wonderful acupuncturist and massage therapist. Her treatments have affected me on many levels, by calming my nervous system, regulating my digestion and helping move stuck emotions. She offers a wonderful combination of shiatsu and acupuncture. I often get excruciatingly ticklish and tense during a massage, but amazingly, that doesn’t happen at all with Charmian’s bodywork! My body is able to relax completely. Her treatments transport me to a place of deep rest when I’m on her table. I also get a long, deep sleep the evening after a session. I really appreciate how she explains what the points are for and what meridians she’s working with. She has a lot of knowledge to share for further healing, including nutritional advice, yoga breaths and movements, and local classes/workshops. It’s quick and easy to set up an appointment via text and her Los Gatos office is conveniently located with plenty of parking.

  I'm so glad I found Charmian! My first impression about her was that she really listened to me about how I was feeling. I was suffering through some health issues when I first saw her, and she was so attentive. She asked in detail about every sickness, injury or accident I've ever had. My previous acupuncturist always seemed rushed and I never really felt like she was listening or trying to get to the root cause. Charmian does that though. She has helped me with quite a few things over the last 6 months, and I always leave feeling better and SO relaxed!

  Charmian Traynor has a wonderful airy office in downtown Santa Cruz. Her treatments have helped me to build my immune system and I have much less back pain if any and have greater energy. Each time I enjoy our visit and would recommend her as a healer for those who need help. Acupuncture is a really great therapy for many issues. She is very professional and caring.
