This part of the rail trail is quite possibly the most beautiful section of the entire rail trail. The tunnel is awesome. Great views from start to finish.

I just pulled onto the parking lot to observe the large bikes. The weather was dreary and wet. Walked to the trail and railroad tracks. Very well maintained and full of lush vegetation. On a nice day this would be the place to be.

A central parking lot for the rail trail. North to the tunnel, south to Seven Valleys. Fairly shady in both directions, but especially to the north. It did flood badly this summer, so beware if you see flood warnings.
