Nuooah Nature Trail Entrance

Too snowy to see the trail on 2/10/2019 but really fun to play in.

Beautiful trail. Lots of snow when I went. I didn't get to the top that day, but still got to a gorgeous view in less than an hour.

Very nice hike. Very dry. Be careful.

Excellent access to this fairly high use trail just 20 min from downtown Tehachapi. First 1/10 of trail reflects high use with many braided social trails leading up initial climb. Trail then turns to gravel fire road with switchbacks for next ~1.5 miles. The final climb is fairly steep 8/10 miles of straight up single track to false summit. The actual summit appears to be another couple hundred yards away on private property that is clearly posted and gated. Okay views from top. Entire up and down trail can be done in about two hours by healthy adults.

The trail guide wasn't available, so the markers meant nothing.

The trail could use some stability in some spots. This trail was difficult for my daughter due to areas where the trail was blown out by people going off path. These areas could use a rebuild and maybe a rock border/retaining wall.

The views are definitely great. If you have no limitations, it's worth the trip.
