What an amazing place. It's like a yoga and meditation summer camp for adults! Only had a short weekend here as a girls getaway, but will be back for sure

Absolutely and in all ways a wonderful experience. I don't give five starts very often, but this place was perfect. I went tent camping, and they had well maintained tent sites with options close by the main buildings as well as more secluded.
The vegetables and lots of the fruits are all grown there, as well as chickens for fresh eggs. Everything is vegetarian and organic, with gluten/dairy free and vegan options at every meal. All the food was fantastic, and you feel so much better after eating like that for even a few days.
There are three hikes of varying difficulty, and all three are beautiful and fun. They also have a pond with kayaks that are super fun to take out and row around in for a bit. Also by the pond are hammocks to chill in and enjoy the nature around you. There is so much to keep you occupied as well as relaxed, including a hot tub and a sauna available whenever you want them, art classes, tours, etc.
The yoga and meditation teachers are for real. They know what they're doing and will help you reach any goals you are looking for. They are amazing at personalizing classes and having a good time with it. I have never been so relaxed and so sore at the same time. But you don't have to be - there are easier classes that are more focused on stretching and relaxing as well. It's super tailored to you and your needs.
There is also a huge spiritual quality in this place. All of the staff are very into Buddhist mythology and know the dieties. They say a prayer before every meal, and hold fire ceremonies and dances where they give offerings and worship the gods. It was a super interesting experience learning about this entire different culture behind so much of the yoga and meditation I'm used to.
Everyone is friendly and welcoming and there is no need to feel embarrassed or self conscious or anything about your skills, your beliefs, your clothes, or anything else you consider more or less trivial. It's amazing and well worth all the time you will spend there.
We so enjoyed this wonderful space. There is such a sweet, calm, healing energy that is palpable. The yogis who live and teach were kind and very welcoming. We enjoyed the yoga classes, sacred art, and meditation classes. We enjoyed the beautiful views, the misty sky and the unexpected snow! The meals were amazing.. so nourishing and delicious. It was a true weekend retreat and we will be back for sure!!
Attended an "Anytime Retreat" Thursday and Friday nights. I had no idea about Shoshoni and had a few free days (I live in Denver)-- an internet search for "things to do in Colorado" eventually led me to find Shoshoni. On a whim, I booked a room in the dorms and took a chance on this spot. If I can give you any advice, absolutely take the trip! The people at Shoshoni welcome you, treat you kindly, gently, and help you be comfortable. It is quiet, laid-back, clean, and special. The yoga and meditations change your vibration. I found it to be a beautiful, gentle "reset" and am home now feeling amazing, refreshed, inspired to incorporate some of what we practiced at Shoshoni into my life. Thank you to everyone at Shoshoni- I will return!
Shoshoni is absolutely magical.
Attended an overnight anytime Retreat and had a blast. The schedule is constructed well and offers many options for any visitors taste.
The vegetarian meals were delicious!
The staff goes above and beyond to know each guests name and special needs that may have (physical, dietary, etc).

Bring appreciate attire to enter the main Temple and ceremonies. Yoga attire is acceptable in all other areas.
