Glad to see Dr. DANA IS still practicing cause I recently know someone in need of a good e.n.t. For there child & Dr.Dana was the best around for all my children 26 years ago & 20 yrs ago. She is still great cause I know my daughter had to see her again at 22 yrs old after not having issues since she was only 2...Dr. Dana did not waste anytime where a lot of Dr.s don't like to do surgery like taking tonsils out & usually require many many infections before finally the inevitable is needed anyway...She saw rt away my daughter had what you call missing tonsils so whenever she just got a cold or anything like tonsillitis which usually you get antibiotic if it's needed and that's fine you don't need to take them rt. out but obviously my daughter's tonsils Dr.Dana noticnoticed the issue rt. away.. Holly & Cc was born with large ones so so as long as they got colds even a just a cold the tonsils would Swell more & block throat to restrict breathing...now if they had hardly got colds an they didn't swell at all also snoring at night in there sleep it would not be necessary ...but eventually in life it would of happened.
I'm so thankful Dr. Dana had me document with recorder to show for insurance reasons how they sounded asleep when sick...So Dr. Dana got it so they wasted no time removing MY girls tonsils! Yes they were both only around 2 five yrs apart but same problem. It was needed and much better young than old.way worse to do later in life..Not only did both girls contract less colds no more snoring or the big thing there airway obstructed by tonsils making it hard to breathe & sleep...Thought I'd share this story cause this is a special case where genetics have them Kissing tonsils very large tonsils Dr.Dana described as kissing tonsils lol and putting off removal of them only would of made them suffer uncomfortably a lot longer than they did & good thing they don't remember...No complications whatsoever so I'm very grateful they didn't have to deal with years of tonsil issues.. Dr.Dana did very quickly knowing there would be no improving this problem of being born with LG tonsils as soon as she explained & documenting for insurance.Dr. Dana is great with children and there parents as I was so worried for them to have a surgery I could of put off but afraid also of how they were breathing when sick it was awful and more scary! She even gave up her Christmas Eve morning to fit one of my daughter's in for s tonsilectomy.. Dr. Dana also put tubes in my older daughter's ears an removed adenoids of one child not both only 1 needed tubes...If you want the best most experienced ENT Dr. Pamela Dana is it...I should of wrote this years ago but thought I'd share in case you have a child with this issue or any ENT issue I was once a new mom of toddler's to or young child .I wouldn't go to anyone else! 5 Stars hope she's still in business when I need a hearing aide lol
Such a good experience. Dr daghra is amazing. Had surgery 3 weeks ago and cannot believe how the scar is disappearing. Can't thank him enough.
I have been using Dr. Dana for hearing and ear related issues for more than 10 years. She is always completely focused on me, has provided me with excellent information and excellent treatment. Unlike most doctors she has totally focused on my issues for as long as is required unlike many doctors who are out the door as I'm asking them questions.
