Heidi Brockmyre Fertility Acupuncture

Heidi works wonders! She was actually the third acupuncturist I saw during my 4 year fertility journey (not all are created equal), and within 3 months I was pregnant with my little girl (due any day now!) She is a wealth of knowledge regarding all things fertility/pregnancy. I love how she analyzed my cycle charts and blood tests as well as using Chinese Medicine to develop the right plan for me. She also gave me acupressure points and other things I could do on my own at home.

She delivers results!!

Heidi has been present every step of the way through my fertility challenges and victories. She is a great acupuncturist but what makes her stand out is the compassion and understanding that she has for women with difficulty conceiving. I feel that every single time I walk in the treatment room her eyes, ears and attention are all on me, she always listens to me patiently and always has great suggestions and words of support, even when when you feel the most discouraged. I give Heidi 5 stars. I went to her for fertility acupuncture in 2012. I wouldn't say that we specifically had issues getting pregnant, but it just took longer than we wanted. Heidi always made me feel comfortable (and not crazy) plus she helped get my body back on track after years of birth control.

We had our baby in January, and we'll be going back to Heidi next year when we decide to start trying again. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a "non drug" approach to speeding up the process of getting pregnant.

About a year ago, secondary to infertility, I reluctantly started acupuncture with Heidi. I had little faith that acupuncture would be able to help where traditional medicine had not. Surprisingly, it was helpful with a number of things. Most remarkably, some chronic back pain and sleep issues resolved and, happily, I've had an incredibly easy pregnancy. While I now think acupuncture is effective, I also think Heidi is a particularly skilled clinician. I'd recommend her, without hesitation, for the treatment of acute and chronic problems. In addition to her clinical expertise, she's warm, funny, and thoughtful.
