With lots of parking, nice long walking path, many grassy areas and some benches to sit on this is a good place to spend an afternoon watching all of the activity that goes on here.

Cool park area where you can pull up right next to the water. Amazing view of downtown San Diego. Off the beaten path so allot less touristy.

An amazing place to walk, jog or just sit and people watch. No Bikes or skates allowed. Check out the Bronze Statue dedicated to The Fishermen who have lost their lives at sea. This three man statue shows what fishing in the racks was like. The three man set up was designed to put the bigger tuna on board. Many of the men listed lived in Point Loma. Some were young and some old all gave their lives to family, fishing and friends. This is a special area.

My first time there and it is so relaxing! I wish I could've been on one of those boats, but just sitting by the water was great and watching the ships and birds go by.????????
