  We researched and interviewed many optometrists and couldn’t be happier with our choice of Dr. Hsieh. She is a specialist in Ortho-K, extremely conscientious, has great follow-up and is a pleasure to interact with (she is high energy and great with kids). We just completed the first, critical 3-month period in Ortho-K for our son.
  
  Our 15-year old son is very nearsighted with a -6 prescription and astigmatism (i.e., couldn’t read the top letter on the chart). People with myopia beyond this level show a significant increase in a number of eye disorders, so we want very much to try to reduce or prevent any additional myopia progression. While regular glasses correct myopia, there are methods for treatment in children. We considered the special multifocal, hard lens, soft lens, and eye drop methods that are used and have been studied for this purpose. We found that Ortho-K had the most substantiating research and best results.
  
  My son is at the very outside range of Ortho-K. Some doctors said they could not treat him. Others were waaaay too expensive. Others did not have the patient interaction or office management style that was as well-matched to my son and me as does Dr. Hsieh. The office staff have been great and we have had no issues at all with scheduling, payments and other administrative. One time when Dr. Hsieh was out we saw Dr. Yee and my son’s issue was solved seamlessly.
  
  Dr. Hsieh went well beyond our expectations over multiple appointments and adjustments to prescribe a system, including lenses, drops, cleaning and disinfecting products that work very well for my son. She followed up regularly and is very responsive to questions on email (I have a LOT of questions and write many emails). My son is enthusiastic about the Ortho-K and being able to see during the day without glasses.
  Like other parents, we are especially concerned when it comes to the health and well-being of our children, certainly including doctors and treatment results. Choosing Dr. Hsieh was a great decision!

  Dr. Hsieh, you treated me as a human and not just a client, it was more then a refreshing experience. Thank you for seeing me under urgent need. You dispelled my fears by lovingly tending to my concerns with patience and compassion. To EACH and EVERY staff member on 8/15/18 thank you...thank you. ????????????

  This is a great office. I needed urgent care on one of my eyes. Erika set up an appointment in minutes and Dr Keswick did an incredible job as always. Thank You

  This is a great establishment. Very professional and friendly staff. Dr. Hsieh is a wonderful, caring optometrist and really spends quality time with me when I went for my regular eye exam. It is definitely worth the drive from Cupertino! I highly recommend Almaden family optometric center for anyone with vision needs!
