The only thing that beats the beauty of this place is how wonderful and caring the counselors are! If you have ever wanted a change in your life I highly recommend calling today, don't put it off any longer...
I completed 30 days successfully at Ranch Creek Recovery. To start, the counseling was great here, and definitely the reason I am sober today a week after discharging from RCR. The counselors were very qualified and I was able to easily grasp the concepts in group and one on one counseling. The therapists were also good. As for the regular staff, Michelle and Paula were fantastic during my recovery and I really felt as though I could open up to them and they opened up to me, which really helped me. There were some things that I did not like, which is why I did not give a full 5 stars. They were very disorganized at most times. I was not a huge fan of the Owner, who seemed to come in at random times and make decisions on a whim. I was moved twice a week before my discharge date, which I did not enjoy having to do, simply because the Owner did not make an organized decision. The Director could be rude at times and come across in a way that I did not enjoy, like questioning if I needed to see the doctor every time I requested to do so. I also did not like how they did not have an actual physical doctor on staff, but used a teleface service. They also advertise they have a psychiatrist on staff but that was a lie. My housemates were great and I was grouped with some awesome people. Otherwise, good place to come recover. I would not personally come back to this facility if I had to, because I would go somewhere more organized.
Coming to Ranch Creek Recovery, I had been through three different inpatient chemical treatment facilities in CA. I was feeling lost and somewhat hopeless. The serene setting gave me peace and I began healing. The counselors were very inspiring and helped me grow in ways I haven’t experienced in years. I began to see the bigger picture that a life in sobriety can give you. Although I am somewhat scared to leave the comfort and security that Ranch Creek Recovery and staff has brought me, I am also excited to share my growth with my family and to start my new life. Thank you RCR!
Overall I have to say the beginning of my recovery has been a success due to the fantastic help from the staff at Ranch Creek Recovery. I came here scared and a mess. Throughout the last month I have relearned who I am and what truly makes me happy. I have also learned many tools to help me stay clean and sober. My outlook on daily situations has improved immensely. I have experienced exceptional days by living in the “now” and not in the past or the future. This program has made me realize what is truly important in my life. RCR gives valuable information and tools to help people begin recovery and at the same time RCR allows one to have enough free time to explore their thoughts and feel like they still have a life. Leaving RCR I am a whole lot healthier, both mind and body, than when I got here.
