Great place for magic the gathering and the staff is super helpful glad I found this spot.

I came by once, a few years ago, and there was a bottle of open vodka on a table.

I was the only customer in the store (it had just opened) and no one else was around. A moment later, a man stumbles out of the bathroom and tipsily sits down at the table. He pours himself a shot, right in front of me, drinks it, and asks if I need any help.

I didn't say anything, but my eyes must have shouted "Bro... you work here? And you're straight-up drinking vodka? At 2pm?" As if he read my mind, "Yeah... I work here!... *slurs speech* I OWN the place!"

I was there to play board games with some friends, and one of whom showed up just a few moments later. He takes a moment to take-in the scene, and we both sit down in awkard silence while the worker grunts incohrently at his phone. Without warning, he wanders over to us and puts his phone on the table for us to view. It was a picture of a naked woman holding a whip.

"Thas mah gurlfren!" he slurs. Then he swipes a few more pictures, of the same woman in various states of undress and fetish garments.

"Shees marrieud but she's still mah gurlfren! Im seeing her today!"

My friend and I are sitting there, staring off in disbelief, like what Jim Halpert does in "The Office." The employee then invites himself to a seat with us and tells us how he owns the shop, but he's selling it today to be with his "girlfriend" followed by more pictures of the nude/scantily clad woman. By then, it was just kind of humurous and sad.

About 5 minutes of this goes on, and another employee (whom I recognize) runs into the shop, apologizes to me and my friend, and takes the drunk guy to another table to talk some sense into him. It was then I decided to walk down the street for some food. When I came back 20 minutes later, the drunk guy was gone.

That being said...

Turn Zero is real Magic store with knowledgeable staff, plenty of seating, tables, and terrific players. They have several large flat-screen TV's streaming Magic tournaments and also shows standings / pairings for in-store tournaments.

Fun place, great atmosphere, tons of people playing games and enjoying themselves.

Cool game shop which also has many tables for gamers to play. Easy to come solo or with a buddy to find others to make a foursome or more to play Magic, Dungeons and Dragons or other card and board games. Helpful staff. They also sell figurines and other gaming souvenirs.
