I've gotten a lot of mixed reviews from friends about this place, but I went myself almost exactly a month ago. They were nothing but nice and understanding. I may have had a different experience because I talked to the director most of the time I was there. I myself am a Christian but even if I wasn't, in no way did I feel pressured or judged about my past life decisions or anything like that. She was very welcoming and actually seemed like she cared about what I had to say and felt. Most people only care about the unborn baby and forget to ask how the mommy to be are feeling, but she didn't. I am definitely going back to get my 1st ultrasound there instead of the OBGYN in Lincolnton.
completely utterly disgusted with the staff. RAPE is not something to pressure a young and now expecting mother into a quick marriage just because she is pregnant. Completely disgusted with the staff using the bible to slut shame a poor young woman and pressure her into getting married after a traumatic experience. the bible is a tool to use as guidance not to be used to judge one another as Christians you are told the only one that can judge us is the lord and savior it is not your right to judge for him. a facility can be christian based without so much judgement. the bible is interpreted differently by everyone but that's not reason to push your own beliefs on to anyone.
