  This place helped give me my life back almost 8 years ago now. The facilities are clean, we played volleyball, went horseback riding and had a chance to live again. I will forever be grateful for the people I met there.

  I went to the refuge when I was 19 years old. The Refuge gave me the tools and healing to survive after my trauma. The work is hard and will bring you back to those moments that hurt, but its the only way to work through your problems. The therapist and other staff are great. The will work with you one on one and in groups until they find a way to help you. Even the other staff that are not therapist will sit with you for hours and hours just talking with you to help out. These people understand what it takes to recover. I felt surrounded by people who actulay care about you. I have gained a family while I was there a community that will be there for you no matter what. If you want to take your life back and stop letting the people or things that hurt you having power over your life this is the place to make that happen. Be ready to work be ready to grow. The refuge will change your life it will make you want to live again. The food is also amazing the chef and his crew are the best. The landscape and atmosphere is like nothing else in this world. Absolutely beautiful. If you need to go or you know someone who wants help I can't recommend the refuge enough.
