  Wonderful local nursery that deals with native plants. They only sell what grows here, unlike the box stores. Mark Fanick is always a wealth of knowledge and so patient and helpful.

  For 25 years I have been gardening in San Antonio and frequently visited all the nurseries except for Fanick”s. Reason being the distance and not being familiar with the area. Last Tuesday my daughter drove me over there and believe me it is well worth the effort to find them. Mark Fanick assisted me so patiently with my long list of plants that I was interested in and answering my many questions.For a wonderful experience I urge you to go a little out-of-the-way but well worth it.

  First time visiting this marvelous nursery and can not wait to visit again! Purchased a Variegated Eureka lemon tree and was very satisfied with quality and scent. Hoping it grows nicely and steady. The employees are very helpful,friendly and offers helpful advice for all planting needs!

  Excellent as usual. Wide variety of plants. We were looking for plants for the vegetable garden and found what we wanted. There were several varieties of each plant we selected and they were all healthy. The sales personal we talked with were helpful and courteous even on this busy Saturday befor Easter. Enjoyed seeing all the beautiful blooming plants.

  Great place to go If you need a huge selection, great service, good prices and a comfortable atmosphere. The staff knows how to help you select what you want and need. In the process of redoing our yard, I’ve had the need for expert help. I was dealing with poor soil quality in some areas, too much shade in one area, too much sun in others. I had two gentlemen walk with me and select the proper plant for each area. It turned out beautiful. Can’t get this kind of service at the big box stores.
  Check out the before and after pictures. The back yard was done and looks amazing too.
