De León Springs State Park

Love this family friendly place! The Pancake Breakfast is always busy but they have a good system in place to get you in as soon as possible. Boys love the swimming area and I love the archives and history museum. They have done a great job making this park a full experience for everyone in the family.

Beautiful natural spring. Great for swimming, walking paths, fishing, nature watching! The water is crystal clear and great to use your swim mask. Great family fun for a low fee! The natural spring you can swim in remains at a constant 68 degrees all year.

Great place for family and self fun. If you love the woods and just want to be immersed in it, this is the place. Also if you like swimming in spring waters, that's here too. I would suggest bringing a mask, snorkel and maybe fins if you have them. They rent canoes, have a river tour boat and just plain fun get-away place. No problems with parking. Bring blankets and towels to lay on and dry off. Rest rooms are in good shape. We are going back as many times as we can!

Interesting little State Park that is centered around a natural spring swimming hole. There's some historical tidbits from the local area, a nice gift store it also has a restaurant where you cook your own pancakes, they have kayak and canoe rentals and a river boat tour. There's a couple of nice hiking trails through the woods with placards placed for points of interest.
