  As a self-described Lowcountry Yankee, sometimes you just "gotta git yer fix" of Southern cookin'. Hence, Cracker Barrel. Can't go wrong with breakfast all day. Wild Maine blueberry pancakes in particular are a specialty. This time, we tried the new fried chicken. It tasted good, and other people's plates looked really good. But, my pieces didn't have much meat, strangely. The Old Country Store, with old fashioned candy inside, and those relaxing rocking chairs outside, beckon you to slow down, browse, and stay a little while. For a taste of Southern comfort, here in the Northeast, Cracker Barrel delivers the food and the feeling of days gone by. Oh, and don't forget to buy a glass jar of atomic fireballs for the Great American Road Trip, too! :)

  Great food at a great price. Our waitress Regan is so nice. We have had her as our waitress three times and she's great! Regan has great customer service and always has a smile on her face.

  I really enjoyed the meal. The waiter took our order and the food came out promptly. However, the platter had to be sent back. The manager was very accommodating when the shrimp platter was sent back, because it was fried too hard. A new platter was given.

  The service was great. The food was well prepared and it didn't take a long time. The atmosphere was very nice. It was quiet. I ordered a dinner sampler and my date order the country fried chicken breast. Everything turned out very good...
