    Great day for snowshoeing. Got a little warm, so a little mushy at the end. Beautiful.

    Incredible deep forest hike. You can even make it all the way up to James Peak from here but it would be about a 15 miles journey. 8 mile dirt road to the trailhead that I was able to drive slowly with my sedan but a truck would be preferable. Plenty of parking.

    This is some beautiful country please help keep it and the surrounding areas clean by picking up after ourselves there are no trash cans here so please remember if you're bagging up that dog poop you need to drive it out with you
