Little Horseshoe Park

This place was amazing and I look forward to going back so much. My state is very hot and the climate change was life changing. There are so many words to describe the way a mountain looks, but its impossible to truly articulate how it feels. Our excitment was building as we got higher into the mountains. When we first arrived, we went down a randon road that lead to a loop next to a stream. We felt so far from the reality of our daily lives. I wish I had taken some photos of this area. Its really incredible. On the way back down, we found a trail that lead to a waterfall. Along the way, people were leaving "hello" messages in the snow from different countries. It was likely done by a group that came by earlier thinking it would fun, but its nice to think that maybe somebody from Mexico, France, and Germany might have wondered by that day. The trail was man made and fairly safe to nagivate if your careful. The park rangers do their best to keep the trails available to hikers, but the melting snow makes it hard. Please be mindful.
