Beautiful summer hike with abundant wild flowers. Also snow shoed there two weeks ago.

I'd say it's a fantastic hidden gem, but it seems the secret is out. If you have the clearance to get there, this whole area is beautiful. Dont even try in a sedan, even in the summer. It's just too rocky. I got there in a 2012 Outback. Well worth the 1.5 hours of rocky road driving to get there.

This trailhead gets CROWDED on weekends. Don't fret, the trail clears out as you hike. Awesome area. Keep it clean and quiet.
