  I can’t believe for as long as this place has been around that there are only a handful of reviews for it. For that matter, the 5 star rating should every once in a while change for places like this so that someone can actually give it 6 stars.
  
  Though all gyms have their pros and the cons, this one by far is the most training impactful environment that I have ever been in. You will learn to push limits like never before and the environment does not shy away from you pushing those limits.
  
  There is no better impacting environment than that of Diamond Gym. It’s a hard-core place where anyone from novices to professionals can walk in the door, absorb the energy, be a part of the energy and walk out of those doors feeling both accomplished and spent.
  
  -Great old school gym feeling
  -Knowledgeable staff
  -Awesome equipment and equipment layout
  -The the vibe in there is always incredible
  - A truly motivational training environment
  
  Originally run and owned by the late/great John Kemper and his family. The place has unspoken dignity and a brand of its own. Ex-pro bodybuilder and a really down to earth guy, Dwayne Broadway runs the show now.
  
  Not to take anything away from other places but, damn, this place should be the only kind of gym that ever exist. If there were franchise opportunities, based on the brand itself, I would be all over it.
  
  If you are within reasonable driving distance of Diamond Gym Maplewood, New Jersey .... it’s not a gym that you should pass up on. Your time spent there would be totally focused on truth in training ...
  Big time.

  This is old school hard core gym! 2nd floor need more magnet for the treadmill,
  only one is over there

  Sadly, my hometown of BUSHWICK BROOKLYN has had its gyms overrun by social butterflies. But this GYM, is an oasis of what a GYM should be. Head nods, fist bumps ( daps), people seriously training, grunting.... Metal weights clanking over bass heavy sounds blasting thru the speakers.... Happy I found it.

  Great bodybuilder gym! Good atmosphere for the serious competitors. Not a gym to be playing around far from a casual gym goers place to play around

  Diamond gym is historic! Providing equipment in which isn't found at many gyms anymore. The staff is motivating and knowledgeable. Definitely worth the experience and membership
