History adjoining highway! Its not Williams cemetery. They built the wall for family immortality but it's Indianola pioneer cemetery
I actually was on the barge canal not the cemetery
It's also known as the Indianola Pioneer Cemetery (thanks TB Islander). Located off the end of Marine Harbor Dr in Merritt Island Florida, just north of the Martin Anderson Beach Line (Sr 528) and west of Courtney Pkwy. You must approach Marine Harbor Dr from southbound Courtney Pkwy due to no turn being aloud from Courtney northbound as you are right @the apron of the bridge and the Beach Line ingress from Courtney Parkway. A U-TURN is very clearly marked from northbound Courtney, just north of the barge canal drawbridge.
This is a lovely quiet cemetery nestled along the Canaveral Barge Canal, many old graves here from times when this was a thriving locale during the early years of Citrus, pinewood lumber, turpentine, pitch and billions of mosquitoes. BREVARD County was once known as and carved from part of Mosquito County, Florida.
