Ms. Ryan is not only knowledgeable and professional, but a lovely person as well. She is pleasant, witty and really cares about her clients. She is wonderful with children, and goes out of her way to full engage them. She clearly loves her work and helping people. My son pronounces his sounds incorrectly, and sometimes he cannot be understood. Ms. Ryan uses exercises to strengthen his muscles, and she uses activities to help him pronounce his sounds better. My son is improving day by day. We are lucky to have found such a gifted speech pathologist!

My son has been receiving services from Mrs. Ryan for almost 7 months. He has made remarkable progress! My family is extremely pleased with the services. His speech has improved tremendously. He went from saying "No" to saying full sentences. His reading skills are also improving immensely! He looks forward to working with Mrs. Ryan. We are very pleased with his progress.

Joan worked wonders with my seven year old daughter, helping out with her lisp. She is patient, nurturing and motivated my daughter to 'want' to improve her speech. My daughter enjoyed every session, and going to practice with Joan was never a chore, even though she always got homework at the end of it! My husband and I are very pleased with the results.

Joan Carol Ryan is wonderful! She has been working with my son for the past six months. My son had a frenectomy and she helped him with exercises before and after the procedure. She has also helped with improving his open mouth posture and tongue protrusion. My son loves going to speech thanks to Ms. Ryan!!

I started working with Joan several months ago. She motivates me to do the exercises to help me with my vocal chord paralysis. I'm very happy to come and have a positive feeling when I'm working with Joan. I believe the therapy and tools I'm being given are helping me with my vocal chord use, my speech, and swallowing. I'm feeling very good about my condition. There has been improvement and I'm very happy about it. Joan's demeanor is very friendly and adds to my motivation to do what I need to do to help myself.
