  This office has some of the best staff members. I was helped by Ateeb and Arlene and they were helpful and so nice and was there to answer all my questions. I had been to the other location in Arlington off cooper and I had a very bad experience so I said well let me try this location and I’m very happy I did. I would definitely recommend this place because the staff is very nice and knowledgeable and they are not pricey at all. Good job eye lab staff❤️

  Had a great experience. Staff were very friendly and helped me find the right frames for me, and even took many pictures of me ,so I could see which glasses looked the best on me. They worked with my budget and were very professional. I highly recommend everyone check this place out and get glasses from here.Thank you so much

  Very happy with the service. The employees were very helpful. I have been glass shopping for a while but never seemed to find a pair that fit my face well. The workers helped me pick something that truely looked good on me and fit my price range. They also have a good overall selection! I went back with my friend as she also needed new glasses. Highly recommend the place!

  Originally built in 1799 as the home and business of Timothy Wilmarth, this classic Federal Style building has been home to Brown and Hopkins Country Store since 1899, now considered to be the oldest continually operating Country Stores in the nation.
  
  A visit inside this charm-filled gem reveals hand-sewn beams, an antique penny candy case, a coffee counter, nooks and crannies filled with a variety of tempting trinkets and such.

  If you like to shop in a home like atmosphere Brown & Hopkins is a must see! It is always an enjoyable venture from the shopping, seeing original items from years ago, the candy counter and the always pleasant staff ! When the seasons change, it is a definite trip in to see the new merchandise and the incredible display work! We are fortunate that it is close to us but it is worth the ride!

  What a wonderful country store! Always decorated so beautifully for each season and holiday. They always have fun little sales and events. And the penny candy counter is a great treat!

  I have had the pleasure of being both a customer and a Pourer at B&H. Whether serving the customers or being one myself, I am always impressed with the store and the employees. No matter how I try, I never leave there empty handed! The store is stocked ceiling to floor and there’s so much to see that you have to take your time and browse, which makes for a very relaxing time. And there is always something to sample. No to mention that you have to go back regularly to see all the new stuff! But don’t take my word, check it out for yourself; you won’t be disappointed.

  Nice country store. We visited while we were up from North Carolina. They have all types of home decorations, candles, framed art, penny candy ect. This place is definitely worth stopping to see.
