  I took my 16-year-old son in to renew an expired passport. I called in advance to confirm that he would need to be there and that my husband would not be needed.
  
  After the initial call, they called me back to let me know that my 16-year-old would need to bring in a photo ID. Once we were there with our paperwork and items we were courteously and efficiently processed, including making a needed photocopy of my ID. We were in and out in under 15 minutes.

  We went there for my son's passport service. We found this gem accidentally while going through some yelp reviews about passport service locations in bay area. This is the place to go for passports if you are anywhere in the bay area. It's worth the drive. The staff are very welcoming and pleasure to deal with. We had all our forms and photo copies done prior to going there on a Friday afternoon. We reach there at 3:45 PM and out by 4 PM.
