Dr Mentjes has been treating me for many years and I highly recommend her. She has seen me at my worst - various degrees of mental illness combined with substance abuse and withdrawals. She has seen me when I was as hostile, desperate, and hopeless as could be. Throughout all of this she never gave up on me. She maintained her composure, professionalism, and compassion to a degree I have not seen in many other mental health care providers. Through her diligence and committed perseverence to my wellbeing I have been able to bounce back from the impossible, get back in school, get & maintain a job, an apartment, and find value in life.
