Tribute to the veterans is important, freedom is not free , there is cost.

Great little area along County D. It's located right next to the recycling center. There's a greenhouse just before it and a Hundu cultural center just down the road. The area itself is pretty small with a decent sized memorial honoring military service members. There's plenty of parking in the lot, but no public bathroom.

There is a nice statue made by Harry Whitehorse of the Ho-Chunk tribe.
