  Recently was looking for a new place to buy bras and a prosthesis ... I found a couple of places in Wichita on line but something about Designs By Darris seemed friendlier and drew me in. I immediately called and made an appointment. Jennifer (the owner) met me at the door and from that moment on, I felt like I had met one of those forever friends. She is a good listener, picked up on exactly what I needed, was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience easy. She knows her way around the different prothesis’ available, offered a variety of bras (swimsuits too) and most of all, knows how to fit them on the customer’s body. She also knows about insurance which is a huge plus. She (and her business) are a blessing.

  I cancelled my appointment twice because I was so nervous. When I made it Jennifer made it easy. Super easy. I was so comfortable and I liked her right away! I went out with 4 new bras and my prosthetic. I am already walking a little taller. I'm so glad I went. Thank you Jennifer!

  When I was referred to Designs by Darris by Dr. Stacy Peterson's office, I had no idea what to expect. I didn't know what a breast prosthetic even was. I made my appointment and the gal on the phone was so nice and made me feel very comfortable when I explained what I needed. They fit me in around MY schedule right away. When I arrived you immediately feel comfortable. Jennifer, the owner, took care of me. She got me measured and next thing I knew I was walking out of there feeling whole again. I didn't know I was going to be able to take home what I was purchasing so that was a bonus! They accept insurance as well! So I was able to get two prosthetics and two special bras. ???? The environment was very clean, cozy, and comforting. I will definitely be spreading the word to my fellow survivor friends about Designs by Darris!

  Darris has always made me feel so comfortable. She has helped me for 22 years now. Shortly after my mastectomy she provided great advice and comfort. Every time I drop in [ calling for a reservation is best] she is so helpful and encouraging. I have been to other places that 'specialize in women's prosthetic devices, yet the selection and care has always been the top of the line.
