  Maddox park was great, the only issue I had was one of the homeowners either across from, or backed up to the park called to complain about people working out there in the morning. The sheriff actually had to come out and tell us this because they received a call. I can understand if there is a ton of noise or criminal activity, but people exercising?? Sac Sheriff has other business that they should be attending to, not being bothered by entitled neighbors.

  It's free to enter. There is a swing set for young kids. A good place to walk your dog, or sit on a bench with your lunch.
