  I have been going to Dr. Andy for over 4 years. I have never met a physician who is so patient centered. He is one of the best part of my healthcare team. He cares genuinely and gets to know the whole person. He goes beyond what a physician does, such as calling you the next day after a procedure to see how you are feeling. He returns emails and will get you in to his office very quickly. He is helping me to be the most pain free I can be. I have refered friends whom I know will love Dr. Engel. His knowledge and skills as a physician truly are a rare nature in the field of pain management. Thank you Dr. Andy for all you have done to enable me to live a life with less pain as a individual who lives with chronic pain.

  Best doctor I've ever had. And unfortunately I've had a lot. I've been seeing him for 2 years. He gets it. He understands that pain sucks and going to the doctor is miserable. He listens, he hears you out and he's empathetic with an informative logical frankness that's astute and thoughtful. He has a distinct individualistic style that's all his own. He has a philosophy and he applies it successfully, to your benefit. He's a professional and as smart as they get. Thankfully he doesn't act like the pompous doctor's that don't truly see you. He's a good guy and a fantastic doctor, he doesn't dissapoint. And I've never had to wait longer than a few minutes to see him.

  It would be impossible for me to offer a greater or more positive recommendation for Dr. Engel. He exceeded my expectations in every way by being kind, patient, and thoughtful. Never in a hurry; always trying to achieve the best outcome and results.

  Dr. Andrew Engel is more than a doctor who helps people manage their pain. He's a doctor who is caring, considerate,very knowledgeable and very much concerned about you the "person" being treated. I find him to be very reliable, he can even put you at ease with his humor(which I find refreshing - and I've noticed in my experience that you don't find that with too many people in this profession). He will even phone you the next day after a major procedure to make sure you're doing okay. And he doesn't feel that dispensing a lot of pain medication is the answer for everything-which is a good thing, because there are other alternatives. Not only that, if you are experincing a lot of pain and discomfort he is willing to see you even before your next appointment that's perhaps two weeks away because he wants to help you feel better...not for you to be suffering. Now that's what I call a dedicated doctor. I would definitely recommend Dr. Andrew Engel to anybody who is looking for an excellent pain specialist.?????
