I love this church!
Great meeting with the woman.
Everybody is warm and welcoming every time.
A great place to feel like others care!
The building is clean and well-maintained by volunteers from the congregations that meet here, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's a peaceful place. In addition to the members and local leaders of the congregation, there are full-time missionaries available to answer questions, give tours, and provide spiritual guidance. Your best bet to find it open is a Sunday before 4:00, but there are activities on other days as well. There is a cultural hall inside with a basketball court (this one is carpeted--other meetinghouses nearby have hardwood floors). I have also attended a wedding and several receptions held in this building, all tastefully done.
Sunday worship services are held for different congregations at 9:00am, 11:00am, and 1:00pm. I find the services meaningful, and I come out with increased commitment to follow my Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitors are welcome, and in fact can contribute a lot with their unique experiences and talents. Children are welcome. Members of the congregation typically wear white shirts, ties, and slacks for men, and dresses or skirts for women, but any modest clothing is appropriate for visitors, who are not discouraged from wearing what they have. For activities on other days of the week, everyday clothing is common.
Come and see! It's an enriching experience, especially for those who have never been inside a "Mormon" meetinghouse before.
