  I have been coming to occ for three years now and there have been amazing steps taken in the right direction. Only problem I have is with the bookstore, it is great that the lines aren’t long anymore however they run out gen ed books for weeks, some staff is rude, some are helpful. Specifically, they ran out of college algebra books by the first day of class starting, very irritating because by the time I got the book I was behind in my class by an entire week. Aren’t there registration lists that says how many students are expected to take the class? I feel as though it was a situation that could have been easily avoided. Not to mention outrageous prices.

  Graduated from this place. People always refer to close county colleges as High school part 2 or some such description...but the strides OCC has made over the years is phenomenal. They are affiliated with Kean and at my graduation, they announced that they'll also be affiliated with NJIT! That is incredibly huge....especially when you consider the rate of their job placement. It's looking up for OCC~

  I went to school here and now my son does,good place to get your feet on the ground,clean,nice profs,it's a county college,priced great,this college is now expanding and offering more great classes and experiences,this is definitely a good place to go,I'm even thinking about going back,,good job here????????
