  The food was really good and the service was nice as well. It is a great option when you want a home cooked meal.

  AMAZING!!! SO GLAD WE STOPPED!! Everything including the service and staff/owners was great!! Get the kickin Bourbon, lemon pepper wings and the pinto beans!!! The Fried whiting was great also!! Will definitely be back!!

  After shopping in High Point, I found myself hungry and craving some soul food. A Google search led me to the gem. I was greeted warmly and told all about the specials and other items. I got kicking bourbon wings, lemon pepper wings and a side of mac and cheese. Wife ordered fish with pintos and mac n cheese. We had the delicious homemade strawberry crunch cake for dessert. The flavor of the kicking bourbon wings were no my thing. The mac n cheese was good but not great. (To be fair I happen to live with the best mac and cheese maker so my standards are high). Those pintos though...out of this world! The fried fish is huge and tasty. What put a smile on my face and tummy was the lemon pepper wings. Never had lemon pepper wings that tasted so good. The wings come in batches of 6. I was so disappointed that I didnt order the other 6 as lemon pepper flavored. They were so good that I am sitting here now contemplating making a return trip from Winston Salem to High Point tomorrow.

  So I happened to stumble across this place because my maps suggested it. It is a quaint and intimate space but the food is AMAZING!!! I got the fish plate that came with 2 sides and a drink. The fish was fried 2 perfection. It wasn't 2 hard and out of the entire fillet it may have had 2-3 bones in it which isn't bad. The macaroni and cheese was DELICIOUS ?. They have several different things on their menu that I can't wait 2 try. I will definitely be returning with hunger and high expectations.
