The 20-year-old man was spotted floating 150 yards off of Coyote Point in San Mateo County at about 7:20 p.m. by a Coast Guard auxiliary unit. The Coast Guard worked with the Foster City Fire Department and the Coyote Point Marina harbormaster to rescue the man from the water by boat.
