  We had a great time. It was cool outside, so the walk was pleasent. They had a lot to see. The dinosaurs became very real for our son.

  People in other reviews have been too negative. Good grief!
  These animals are appreciated, fed, cared for and vet attended.
  Maybe you should open a wildlife sanctuary of your own & get the vulnerable well enough to enjoy life & then turn them loose with no cages?! Yikes!
  Survival of the fittest to the max then!
  Go to the parks & pretend away.

  This museum and hiking area is very worth the trip! The museum is child-friendly, while being very educational and interesting to adults. It features unique artistic renditions and creatively formed exhibits. There are some live animals featured inside and outside nearby on one of the nature trails. No butterflies were featured when we visited on March 4th, 2020, so you might call ahead if that's your interest. The experience is probably best when there is no rain, but we walked to the animal enclosures anyway!
