  We enjoyed a private tour of Death Valley with Erwin as our guide. It was a full day of sightseeing and learning more than we could have ever imagined about this area. Erwin is extremely qualified as tour guide as he has personally trekked the peaks and canyons he was showing us. He is also very personable and made us all feel immediately comfortable and secure that we were in excellent hands. The tour van is very comfortable and perfect for our small group of 4 people. I highly recommend Erwin and Out West Adventure Tours if you’re looking for an outstanding personalized tour.

  My husband and I took a week long vacation with Erwin & Carolyn and it was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. They are the dynamic duo. They exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond. From hiking the Grand Canyon, horseshoe bend, the hoodoos, Atv riding, Zion National Park, horseback riding .. every single experience was amazing. Erwin is the most knowledgeable, fun, courteous tour guide we have ever had. We wanted adventure and they gave us adventure. It was a private tour where we went at our own pace and stopped whenever we wanted. I can’t say enough kind words about this amazing couple. Highly recommend them. If I could give more stars I would!

  I booked two days tours with Out West Adventure Tours back in December 2019. Erwin was a professional and knew a lot. I did not know the tours were private (my bad) so when I booked, it was for my own trip. Even though I toured alone, Erwin was great company and showed me a lot of areas I did not expect to see on the tour. While the prices may be slightly steep, I believe the value, privacy and learning shine as the major positives. Out West Adventure Tours is the only company I could find that provided access to the sand dunes in Death Valley, plus other scenic areas in the national parks other tours do not provide. You will see a lot in a day, and this is coming from a person that likes to see a lot in a day road trip. I also liked the fact Erwin knew I was a photographer so he would provide tips to support the best imagery in the wonderful landscape of Nevada. I highly recommend Erwin and his company for anyone seeking an excellent adventure in the desert.

  I am not prone to going on tours but my bff wanted to see Area 51 and taking a tour seemed like the best way to do it. I am so glad that I did and would highly recommend it as a must-do. The van is luxurious and comfortable for the 11 hour trip. Erwin takes care of all of your needs and he has a way of making you feel like he's an old friend/family. The views of death valley were amazing, from the mountain ranges to the salt flats, and Erwin explained about the towns, structures, land and mountain formations, fauna, and flora that we encountered. He also described other interesting sites that I never even knew existed, and sounded amazing for future adventures. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer, and he's full of good stories. The stops along the way were perfect, and he made sure we got the full Area 51 experience. This was truly a fun and memorable trip!

  Where do we begin!? Carolyn was a pleasure to work with when making our tour reservation and she kept the lines of communication open leading up to our trip. Erwin, our tour guide, picked us up promptly at our Las Vegas hotel and off we went for our adventure! The van was super snazzy and he even had snacks and water for us. ERWIN was EXCELLENT!!! He was polite, knowledgeable, professional, and he had a great sense of humor. We felt like we had known him forever! Our first stop was for a coffee and to see the Bighorn Sheep at Hemenway Park in Boulder City, NV, then the Hoover Dam, the Joshua Tree Forest, and then Eagle Point and Guano Point. Lunch was at a nearby ranch where the food was great and the staff was friendly! Erwin was a great driver and made us feel safe and he also made sure there were restroom breaks along the way. Look no further and make your reservation now! A private tour is definitely the way to go and was worth every penny. We will definitely use Out West Adventure Tours when we return to Las Vegas.
