Emporio

This is the most amazing Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at. The only place that is of equal is el.pirata in southern Italy. Everything was perfect. The wine the cocktails the pasta. Wood fired pizza. I will be here again, and the desserts.... still dreaming of them.

Emporio is a quaint restaurant with a welcoming and homey feel. The staff is super friendly and their outdoor seating is great if you want to catch views of the bustling city. The food was really good, especially their fluffy French toast and warm Italian breakfast tea.
I love that they've gone electronic for payments as it is crucial these days with everything going on. I'd definitely go back and hopefully soon.

I love the pizza! I worked for this place about two and a half years ago, and I never got sick of the stuff. And I STILL get cravings for it. Now if that doesn't make for good pizza, I don't know what does. Sure, it gets crowded, but I think it's work the wait. Ain't nothing like the Classic. I could eat a whole one by myself. Definitely at the top of my favorite pizza places list.

Went there for lunch on a weekday. No wait. The food was tasteful, and portions were big. (Squid ink spaghetti has plenty of crab meat and shrimps which was a good surprise). The waitress was very kind. Would definitely recommend.

5 stars for food, ambience and service! The seafood pasta I had was literally covered with chunks of blue crab. The calamari was fried and seasoned so well.

The only thing that was a bit awkward was when our waitress was signing off her shift, she came abruptly with the card machine and asked for us to close the check which is fine. However, she preselected a 20% tip and said let me know if you want to change the amount. It was uncomfortable and sort of at the point of demanding tips. Also she only sat us and throughout the duration of our meal, we had another waitress attending to us and she was AMAZING! Would gladly tip her instead.

Apart from that, great restaurant!
