(July 27, 2020, 6:35 pm)Just got home from the ER with my mother in law. I am her primary caregiver and I was concerned she had an infection. Everyone was so kind from the moment we walked in. Her nurse was Carl and he was so awesome and so personable! AND he got her IV in on tge first try which NEVER happens! That alone was a big deal for her. The doctor that saw her was Dr. Neal Surendra Patel and he was so kind and caring. I think he could tell how scared i was but he really put me at a ease. Right now it is scary to go to any ER but everyone was so wonderful. I know the type of reviews that this hospital gets...trust me..i worked there in the 90s but I honestly do believe they have worked very hard to be a great hospital!! I trust them way more than Mercy! Thank you all for being so kind today! We really appreciate all of you!

(March 4, 2019, 10:21 pm)Unfortunately, Mom has been here several times for falls or fainting spells.
Everytime we have been here I have been pleasantly surprised. It probably isn't the fanciest E-Room around, but I'd rather have kind caregivers and effective doctors than flashy architecture. -
